Regulation - Parking tre cime di lavaredo

Art 1.

The Carparks with paid parking in the area of the Tre Cime di Lavaedo are found on property owned by the Municipality. For the purpose of the present rules and regulations the “roadway of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo” is that paved roadway which begins in “Prati di Rimbianco” and arrives at the mountain shelter in Auronzo.

Art 2.

The regulation of mandatory access to the Carparks begins in the valley, in “Prati di Rimbianco”. It is forbidden to park along the access roadway leading to forced removal of the vehicle.

Art 3.

The booking of the ticket for access to the Carpark and the relative collection of the tariff will follow the procedure stipulated by the City Council Resolution.

Art 4.

The service will be available during the periods set by the competent offices of the Municipality, based on weather conditions and local climate. Camping is prohibited in the Carpark areas. Non-compliance with said ban will lead to administrative fines from a minimum of € 100,00 to a maximum of € 500,00.

Art 5.

The parking tariff is determined by the following types of vehicles:

a) Automobile
b) Motorbike
c) Bus with maximum 30 person seating capacity
d) Bus with over 30 person seating capacity
e) Camper

For the purpose of the present rules and regulations vans with seating capacity up to a maximum of 9 people are subject to the tariff for automobiles.
The manager of the local Public Transportation Service, both city and suburban, may stipulate norms / rules for the regulation of access and parking.
The ticket, parking permit, is valid for 12 (twelve) hours from the time declared by the buyer when booking.
In any case, the parking permit is no longer valid when the vehicle exits the Carpark, even if the 12 (twelve) hours have not expired.
Consent for a prolonged stay in the Carpark is possible after the verification of availability of parking spaces and subsequent booking as per the regulations stipulated by the City Council Resolution.
There is exemption from payment of parking tariffs (following declaration) for those who intend to use the street from the barrier to the Carpark with no intention of parking and return to the exit within 30 (thirty) minutes of entrance.
The tariffs relative to the present article are determined by the City Council.

Art. 6.

The residents of the Municipality of Auronzo di Cadore may access – with prior registration and subsequent booking according to the rules and regulations set by the City Council Resolution – the Carparks at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo with their personal automobile paying a discounted rate.
The “Alpine Guides”, and those who “accompany Mountain Media”, “Environmental and Excursion Guides” may access – with prior registration and subsequent booking according to the rules and regulations set by the City Council Resolution – the Carparks at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo with their personal automobile paying a discounted rate.
The City Council will determine annually the rates in reference to the above stated within the time period determined by the rules and regulations for the budget resolution.

Art 7.

Parking in the Carpark is free of charge for the following categories of vehicles:

a) Vehicles that are the property of City administrators in the course of work duties;
b) Vehicles that are the property of the Municipality of Auronzo di Cadore;
c) Vehicles that are the property of C.N.S.A.S. and organizations of Alpine First Aid of law enforcement agencies in the course of work duties;
d) Vehicles that are the property of City personnel in the course of work duties;
e) Vehicles that are the property of the C.A.I. section of Auronzo di Cadore and members of its Board of Directors in the course of work duties;
f) Emergency vehicles, fire prevention vehicles, ambulances, veterinary ambulances, while in the course of duty;
g) Vehicles that are the property of law enforcement agencies while in the course of duty;
h) Public Service Vehicles in the course of duty;
i) Vehicles authorized by the Municipality of Auronzo di Cadore;
j) Vehicles used for the transport of disabled / handicapped persons, with a specific sticker, with prior registration and subsequent booking according to the rules and regulations stipulated by the City Council Resolution;
k) Vehicles that are the property of business owners accessible by the community roadway of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, their employees, service operators, and suppliers when paid parking spaces are not used but only spaces identifiable for service activities.

The meaning of “in the course of duty” in reference to the present article is understood as those activities which are included in the job definitions to be found within the Municipality / associations in reference to the territory of the roadway of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Art 7. bis

The Municipality reserves the right to execute random controls regarding exemption and reduction of parking payment ref. art. 6 and 7

Art 8.

The Municipality is not responsible for the following:

a) Damages to vehicles while being driven, while parked, and during maneuvers;
b) Robberies and damages to vehicles, property, animals, and persons while inside the Carpark and in general in the district that cannot be directly attributed to institutional activity of the Municipality, including illegal activity, hooliganism, accidents, forces beyond control, or natural disasters.

Art 9.

In case the access roadway to the Carpark is closed by council decree, to those who purchased a ticket valid for the period that the Carpark is closed, there is the possibility to book a new date in the manner established by the Municipality by City Council Resolution.

Art 10.

Traffic rules will apply inside the area of the Carpark and relative fines will be applied for violations.
