Monte Agudo: resort closure from September 14, 2026

Each season offers a different way to experience Auronzo and its mountains. After a summer filled with adventures, Monte Agudo is preparing for its autumn break, while the surrounding landscape takes on new colours and looks ahead to the excitement of the coming winter.

The Monte Agudo resort in Auronzo di Cadore will be closed from Monday, September 14, 2026. This marks the end of a summer season filled with hiking, outdoor activities and panoramic views of the Dolomites.

We would like to thank everyone who chose Auronzo di Cadore and Monte Agudo this summer for days filled with sport, fun and relaxation in the mountains.

Autumn in Auronzo di Cadore

The closure of the resort does not mean the end of the experiences awaiting you in Auronzo. With the arrival of autumn, the landscape is transformed: the forests turn shades of red, yellow and orange, the days become quieter and the mountains are reflected in the waters of Lake Santa Caterina.

It is the perfect time to admire the autumn foliage, explore the surroundings of the village on foot and enjoy a relaxing break in the heart of the Dolomites. Before setting off, we always recommend checking the weather forecast and current trail conditions.

Looking ahead to the winter season on Monte Agudo

Over the coming months, Auronzo di Cadore and Monte Agudo will prepare to welcome the new winter season. When the snow returns, the resort will once again become one of Auronzo di Cadore’s leading destinations for skiing and winter mountain experiences.
